The new Chipolo Pop Bluetooth tracker offers an all-in-one solution for tracking your belongings, pets, and even your phone. Unveiled by Chipolo this week, the Pop supports both Apple’s Find My and Google’s Find My Device networks—though only one can be active at a time.
Unlike previous models, users no longer need to pick a version based on their phone brand. This dual compatibility makes the Pop a versatile choice, especially for households using mixed platforms.
Priced at $29, the Chipolo Pop costs slightly more than the earlier One Spot and One Point models. However, it brings enhanced functionality and convenience that justify the price bump.
Physically, the Pop is compact and colorful. It measures 1.53 inches in diameter, about half an inch larger than a quarter, and 0.25 inches thick. It’s available in six bright colors: blue, black, green, red, white, and yellow. The device runs on a user-replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery, lasting up to a year before needing a swap.
One standout upgrade is its Bluetooth range. The Chipolo Pop stretches its signal up to 300 feet, a major improvement over the 200-foot range in earlier models. This means you can find items across larger spaces more easily.
Durability has also been improved. With an IP55 rating, the Pop resists dust and water. You can safely attach it to items exposed to light rain or splashes. However, full submersion—like a swim—is still off-limits.
In addition to network tracking, the Chipolo Pop Bluetooth tracker works with Chipolo’s own app. This adds exclusive features like customizable alarm sounds, left-behind alerts on Android, and even a remote camera shutter. You can also ring your phone by squeezing the tracker twice—even if your phone is on silent.
The Pop retains the 120dB alarm found in Chipolo’s other products, ensuring you’ll hear it in noisy environments.
For users looking for a flexible, cross-platform tracker with robust features and improved range, the Chipolo Pop delivers a practical and colorful upgrade to the Bluetooth tracker space.
