Honor has finally unveiled the Magic V5, skipping the V4 naming but definitely not skimping on upgrades. It now claims the crown as the thinnest foldable phone ever.
Thinner and Lighter Than Ever
Visually, the Magic V5 keeps the same premium design as the V3, but you’ll notice a flatter frame for easier handling.

Ivory White is the lightest and thinnest color option, while Black, Dawn Gold, and Reddish Brown are slightly heavier.

The Magic V3 already boasted an IPX8 rating for water resistance, but the V5 goes further with IP58 and IP59 certifications, adding dust resistance on top of better water protection.
Massive Battery Upgrade
One of the biggest upgrades is the battery:
- China model: 6,100mAh silicon-carbon battery
- Overseas model: 5,820mAh battery
- Charging: 66W wired, 50W wireless
This is a 12% increase over the V3’s battery capacity.

Honor kept the winning display formula:
